Burning

I know what a lot of you are going to say about this one, and before you start flaming this picture or me over your religious beliefs, please stop. This is not meant to be a slam at your religion or a degradation thereof. This is simply something that happened and I grabbed my camera because it looked amazing to me.

My wife and I were making a costume piece and needed particular-colored wooden beads, which we found for cheap off of two air freshners that happened to have crosses as their focal point. We disassembled the freshners (which were set up like necklaces), and used the beads. It was winter time, so we had a fire going in the fireplace... and were sitting near it. Neither my wife nor I am christian, so I tossed the left-over wooden pieces into the fire. It just so happened to be a cross. I looked over and saw that, and decided that it needed to be captured. It turned out really nice for a bottom of the market digital camera, I think.

So, if you wish to leave a comment... make it about the art, not bashing it for going against your belief system, please.
