Halo Map - UNSC Nuclear Storage Facility

I run several play-by-post games on a gaming forum site. This Battle Map was for a Halo-themed one in which the players had to gain access to a nuclear warhead, in order to plant it in another location, in order to prevent sensitive information falling into the wrong hands. This particular map was the actual nuclear storage facility (each payload is stored within the circular 'tanks' you see on the map Grids like this allow me to place the characters and baddies in relative space to one another so that judging things like distance and line-of-sight are easier to illustrate during combat, thus also allowing for a greater amount of strategy and visual immersion.

The piece was made in GiMP by cutting, pasting, and layering images that I found and collected from the far corners of the web... none of these elements were created by myself from scratch.
